Problem Note 61408: Task switch before recalculating results in an Internet Explorer crash
In SAS® Merchandise Planning, switching tasks without recalculating the worksheet might cause Internet Explorer to stop responding. If you edit a KPI and then attempt to switch tasks, you are presented with following options:
- Select YES to recalculate the worksheet.
- Select NO to return to the current task.
If you select YES, then the worksheet should recalculate the current task and then switch to the selected task. However, if the KPI that was edited has an aggregation rule of calc/calc/calc or calcplug/calcplug/calcplug, then selecting YES before the task switch causes Internet Explorer to stop responding. You then have to close the browser so that the worksheet resets.
As a workaround, if prompted, select NO to return to the current task and manually recalculate the task before switching to a new task.
